A Beautiful New Bench Delivered to Ipswich Hospital’s Children’s Garden

We’re delighted to share some wonderful news

This week, Hudson Group delivered the brand-new hexagonal bench to the children’s garden area at Ipswich Hospital, its just perfect!

Back in September, we launched a campaign to raise funds for a lasting addition to the outdoor space used by young patients and their families. Thanks to the incredible support of our clients, we were able to make this project a reality.

This special bench now sits in the heart of the garden, offering a calm, welcoming spot for children to rest, chat, or simply enjoy a moment outside during their hospital stay. What may seem like a small addition can truly make a difference for families going through challenging times.

The idea for this project came from our Sales Operations Director, Jo Day, whose son Newlyn has spent many stays in hospital over the years.

“Seeing the bench in place is incredibly meaningful,” Jo shared. “It’s more than just seating, it’s a place for comfort, for parents to sit with their children, or for children to get a breath of fresh air when they need it most. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this happen.”

Throughout September, Hudson Group donated towards the cost of the bench for every client order placed. As always, our clients showed immense kindness and enthusiasm.

“This project was our way of giving something back to a hospital that has supported my family and so many others,” Jo added. “We couldn’t have done it without the continued support of our wonderful clients.”

We’re proud to have played a part in enhancing this outdoor space at Ipswich Hospital, and we hope the bench brings comfort, connection, and brighter moments to the children who spend time there.
