Helping Create a Special Space for Young Patients

Spending time in hospital is never easy-especially for children. That’s why this September, Hudson Group is launching a new campaign to raise funds for something that will make a real difference: a hexagonal bench for the children’s ward outdoor area at Ipswich Hospital.

This outdoor space gives young patients and their families the chance to step outside, take a breath of fresh air, and enjoy a change of scenery. The new bench will create a welcoming spot where children can sit, rest, and spend time with their loved ones during what can be very difficult days.

The idea for this project once again comes from our Sales Operations Director, Jo Day, whose son Newlyn has spent many stays in hospital over the years.

“Last year we raised money to buy toys for children spending Christmas in hospital, which was a huge success thanks to our amazing clients,” Jo explained. “This time, we wanted to do something more lasting-something the children and their families can use all year round. A simple bench might not sound like much, but in a hospital setting it can mean moments of comfort, conversation, and connection.”

Throughout September, Hudson Group will be donating towards this project for every order placed.
